1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Thousands of crayons?? on: September 28, 2012 06:48:50 AM
Please be REALLY REALLY CAREFUL if you are planning on running them thru a glue gun.  I did that and after 10 crayons or so my glue gun sparked and burnt out.  Also if it gets clogged with the wax it will spatter out the back or front and hurts when you get it on your skin (baaaaaaaad crafty experience)

I use it to paint beads for necklaces and such--so pretty!

You could also use it to pain other small objects like buttons or other embellishments

For food you could do some fruit, little sandwiches and other baked goods-bread like bread and butterflies! ok maybe not...  Place cards around the food saying eat me, depending on what you're doing for drinks put 'drink me' tags on them.  Playing cards for seating or just decorations.  I like the 'painting the roses red' idea too Smiley  Good luck!!
4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: Boyfriend Valentines Day Present - HELP!! on: December 26, 2010 08:14:55 PM
I made a places we've been scrapbook with various places we've gone and like to go, you could do that with pictures to remind him of you.  Or the coupon book is always a great one too, no matter what you put in it from a dinner for 2 or some other things Wink Smiley
I'm doing a picture collage of the boy and I for our 1-year anniversary since he doesn't have any pictures of us together.

Beautiful!  I love them all Smiley
I would say one way to use up a lot of them is to make some of those necklaces that have a cluster of beads at the end. I think they're called cluster charm necklaces or something similar...

You could try the dollar store.  I know I got some a month ago that had like 6 in a bag.

Good luck!
7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Frosted Fall Theme? on: October 26, 2010 10:01:08 AM
I've been thinking about themes for my wedding, he wants fall and I want a winter wonderland theme.  I was thinking of combining the two with a 'frosted fall' wedding.  Like when you wake up and everything is covered in frost and its so pretty.  I'm just not sure about colors and was looking for some input  Smiley
