I NEEEEEEEED that worm painting!! \O/ And Roler, I want your entire package. You can send it along now Wink The music pouch is a wee bit of adorableness right there ^^

Melious1- the pendant is from Secret of the Nimh "SPARKLYYYYY!" It's rose quartz. I couldn't find a "red" stone like in the movie so I figured pink might translate as a good second choice Smiley

I love Good Reads! I listed my profile on my questionnaire  Cheesy

I actually bought the first Harry Potter book in French to help strengthen my skills when I was taking classes in colleges two years ago. I remember my french teacher trying to read the books in English to her son and having such a hard time reading the names xD I don't think she ever finished them....

IJ, if I got partnered with you, I might have to send you one of those three books with a bottle of BBQ sauce just for giggles.  Grin

Baahahahahaha!!!!! xD Come have a cook out with me Bunny!! xD

I think I was tailor made for this swap  Grin I have a smallish library in my living room (literally....) that a lot of my friends will come borrow from and eventually fall in love with a series i recommend. Never fails! Book Matching Making is one of my favorite things to do! Cool
One of my biggest success stories is my big sister. She is NOT what you call a reader. She struggled to read books that were even high school level until last year (she's 34). She went to one of the local library book sales I help run and looked through the stacks and found a Paranormal/PI series she liked called Black Sun's Daughter. She read the first book in a DAY. And then asked for more. I CRIED. MY big sister was WILLINGLY READING BOOKS!!!!!!! Now she's a woman reformed and on the loose Cheesy She can't stop buying books and she reads at least one a day, if they're short enough. SHE'S recommending titles to ME! I always said it just takes the right book and ANYONE can be a reader Smiley She's the best proof I have of that fact.

I recommended my husband and his little sister the Terry Pratchett Discworld series as well and now he's forcing me to read it so we can share in the same inside jokes Cheesy And by "force" I mean he's ALLOWING me to read his books. Under a careful and watchful eye (Like a papa bear with his cubs  Cheesy Wink ) I have to say my favorites are the Night Watch books so far. That whole crew just leaves me rolling laughing xD I tried reading the Witch books but I couldn't get around Esme. Nanny was HILARIOUS though. Still have to read the Tiffany Aching books but I know I'll be enjoying those some time soon Smiley

I dunno if I can say I have a FAVORITE all time book...just my favorite at this current time. "The Iron Fey " series, "Abhorsen" triolgy Garth Nix, "The School of Good and Evil trilogy", "The Belgariad", Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, the Tiger's Curse saga, "The Incarnations of Immortality" series, and yes, I'll say it, the "Twilight" Saga Tongue "The Highlander" series (Karen Marie Moning), Katie MacAlister (Rom Com writer), Pretty Little Liars series, Neil Gaiman ANYTHING... I won't even get started on the individual books  Cheesy Good lord. Good thing y'all are readers! I could type out a novel here! Sorryyyyyyyy

I like reading fiction, especially YA, OA (Old Adult) or NA (new adult). Annnd I'm def a fantasy lover. Paranormal, epic, realism with a splash of fantasy, re-made/re-invented fairy tales.... yeah that's my GROOVVEEEEEE. But I do like reading Biographies and sometimes historical manuscripts. Christopher Reeve had an amazing life, as did Michael Oher, the kid whose life was turned into the movie "The Blind Side". Good stuff!

Sorry to say abbeeroad I didn't enjoy "The Paris Wife"  Lips sealed Cheesy I quit half way through and just skimmed the rest. It went onnn and oonnnnnn >_< There are exactly three books though that I find the MOVIES are better than, which is rare: "Julie and Julia", "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and "Practical Magic." J and J I couldn't even finish. The overall tone of the book in the beginning was kinda depressing and angry and I couldn't get past that. And there are three books I would burn on my grill for kindling if ever given: Catcher in the Rye, Cry the Beloved Country, and Waiting for Godot. Seriously. They'd be charcoal  Tongue

That eye of Sauron is something else \O/! Awww Genie  Cry forever the embodiment of Robin Williams. The ultimate power to make people laugh but living in the tiny depressed prison of his own body and emotions =/ Beautiful tribute!!

I'm glad you like the tiny package Smeddley (even though I'm sure I misspelled your name twice  Roll Eyes I was in a bit of a hurry!  Grin ) Doing little tiny fiddly things just doesn't suit me well. I feel like, if I can't do something "BIG" then it feels like I haven't done ENOUGH, ya know? But I love these dang swaps! My Goblin King is Lord and Master of my head board on his throne of Books.  Grin

WOOOW TEENSY stitches!!  Shocked It's really impressive how neat that is! I love the Stitch! xD My BFF would reach through the screen and steal it.

I received my package from Smeddley! My kids actually found it shoved inside a bush. Gawd only know how long it's been there :p But! At least it wasn't stolen!  Grin Even with her being hurt I am amazed and humbled that she still made me an amazing package. Her crochet skills are superior in every way!

The movies she chose from my list were "Ratatouille", "Labyrinth", and "Shall We Dance?"

The shot of the trio. Aren't they so amazing!?! (no they're not all "tiny" but I ain't complaining. No freaking WAY would I!)  Grin

Jareth!! He's so smart and clean looking in his black and grey. Look at his tiny lace cravat! it's so clever and it adds just the right touch. But his hair is my fave  Cheesy perfect yarn for that. My wild goblin king will be throned on my head board so he can watch me while I sleep. (No, not creepy at all right?)

We're calling this one the "shall we dance" inspired stuffie even though in the movie, there's no ballet. How could I possibly care though! LOOK AT HER!! \O/ Her wee shoes and her tight brown bun! She can dance with me anytime! The stitches on this doll are so even. Jealloouusssssss  Cheesy

REMY!! The "little chef" in the flesh. Er.... kinda  Cheesy I freaking love this movie! With his little hat OH MY GOSH. Love him! He's a solid piece too. No wiggly bits.

Smeddley out did herself. Now she needs to take a rest! Thank you for my wonderful new friends!
