4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Re: WIP Graveyard Willie on: April 11, 2011 11:00:21 AM
Thank you. I was thinking that I could print out what I need and then print out the rest a little at a time. It can get so boring at the doctors office when you have to wait for 30 minutes LOL

Mine did the same thing. I bought it early last year and after I moved in August '10 I noticed that the ends have cracked and one side chipped. Well actually my husband noticed it when I was setting up to work with my clay. Of course he said that he will have to buy me another but I don't wanna waste money if another one will do the same.

Thank you so much Diane B. I have that website bookmarked now and will be reading through it. I may print it out if that's ok so that I can read while I'm waiting at the doctor's office Smiley
7  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / WIP Graveyard Willie on: April 09, 2011 01:31:01 AM
I started a new sculpt and I was hoping to have a fairy. I tried everything to get the eyes set right but this is how they wanted to be. Guess I'll just let the clay do what it wants and go with the flow. After working on it for a bit I noticed that it was the ugliest fairy that I have ever seen. LOL So I changed gears and now I have Graveyard Willie. This may sound weird but he has been talking to me. So here he is.

They look like she transferred a picture to the clay and covered the picture with liquid clay or a very thin layer of translucent clay. To attach she may have put a loop on the underside and sewed it on. Just a guess I could be wrong.

Thank you tiffi_333 and Diane B. I really appreciate the info and I hope to get them finished this weekend.

I'm glad you like them Think. I'm still pretty new to polymer clay and I have so much to learn and it sure is fun learning  Grin

Those are absolutely awesome. It would be great to have several of the strung together hanging on the wall for Christmas Grin
