1  Amelie! (4 pictures) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by LyssaOdyne on: September 01, 2011 10:55:21 PM
I made Amelie for a collegue who was leaving. I used Red Heart yarn. The pattern is made by Dawn Toussaint http://www.etsy.com/shop/dawntoussaint It's not the easiest pattern and requires some thinking of ur own, but she turned out great! (If I may say so myself Wink)

Her sweater and hair/hat are removable, but I didnt create a whole wardrobe.

For those who have a ravelry account, he are more pictures: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/LyssaOdyne/amelie-the-pattern

Let me know what you think!

2  Different female dolls in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by LyssaOdyne on: January 07, 2011 10:19:40 AM
A couple months ago I bought a pattern from http://www.etsy.com/shop/kandjdolls called Nurse Jazzy.

So I made her:

After that my mom fell in love with the pattern and asked if I could make her one, but without the "nurse" parts. So I improvised a bit and made her a teacher (which she is) with a reading book:

And finally a friend of my mom really liked the teacher doll and asked if I would make a "sara". When a woman turns 50 in the Netherlands, some people call her sara and put granny dolls in the garden and other stuff. So I improvised a bit more. Just a different pattern for her hair and came up with this:

I really like how you can do al kinds of different stuff with the same pattern!

4  Mamegoma seal in bunny suit! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by LyssaOdyne on: November 02, 2010 03:25:54 AM
This is the first time I completly made an amigurumi with a Japanese pattern (thankfully it has a schematic as well).

It's Mamegoma, a Japanse character who dresses up as other animals. Not sure if it's the same as Sirotan, also a seal who dresses up as other animals!  Grin

And the seal without it's suit!

The pattern comes from this Japanese book:
