2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / joan jett tee remake & neko case painted skirt! on: September 01, 2008 01:51:06 PM
hi everyone! i got a chance to see joan jett play about a month back and came away from it with a rad t-shirt. i decided to play around with the fit a little bit instead of doing my standard sew-in-the-sides-and-done laziness. so tell me what you think!

front!

side!

back! i decided to turn the shirt around so that i could cut the front lower without working around the logo.

close up of neckline and sleeves. i left all the edges raw because i wanted it to be a little punk in honor of ms. jett.

and a skirt that i painted a long time ago. neko case is like my icon in life. she's so gorgeous.

close up of the paint job. i'm not much of an artist but i'm happy with it.

thanks for looking! xox

that's so cute! i'm totally impressed that you made a dress out of one meter. i've been in that position before and i couldn't make it work. your butt must be smaller than mine.  Wink good job!
