1  World of Warcraft character cake toppers in Weddings and Bridal Showers by Elyssia on: May 29, 2013 04:46:30 PM
I've just finished making our cake toppers for our wedding in September  Grin I made my fiance's troll shaman Psyjin and my belf mage Elyssia. The photo of them is pre-baking which I'm glad about, as unfortunately Psyjin took a facedive in the oven and suffered some fall damage (WoW joke  Cheesy ) by that I mean his feet fell off Sad I'm sure I'll be able to patch him up though somehow! I've never used Fimo before so was quite surprised how much I liked the end product

2  Very Hungry Caterpillar blanket - first try! in Quilting: Completed Projects by Elyssia on: March 31, 2013 04:57:05 PM
I thought I'd upload some photos of my first ever attempt at a patchwork blanket, I made it for my fiance's sister's baby, it was originally going to be for his first birthday but there was no way I was going to finish on time so I postponed it and did it for his second instead  Roll Eyes It's not technically very good, the squares aren't lined up properly but she loved it regardless  Cheesy Hopefully it will make a nice keepsake in the years to come Smiley

3  Re: The Awesome Manicure Thread! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Elyssia on: March 12, 2013 07:54:18 AM
These are my favourite nails I've done, ombre/gradient nails, I called them Starry Night Smiley

I used a dark blue for the base, with a light layer on the bottom, then another layer to make it darker, then black for the tips with a topcoat of clear with silver glitter. The picture isn't very good but they looked lovely. They were really easy to do, just a bit messy! Lots of tutes online or on youtube showing you how to do them Smiley
