21  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: first successful recon - shirt to tank on: February 23, 2006 08:33:13 AM
so apparently the world  hates me.  sorry I accidentally spammed this, Craftster would not cooperate last night... I guess that should have been my clue not to try posting, but oh well!

let's see if this shows up...

so that's it.  simple too-big shirt to tank.  fits very nicely, just crappy pictures.  I wore it to karate today and it rocked.   Cheesy
22  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitty's real stocking cap on: February 22, 2006 04:41:56 AM
you never see anybody actually MAKE one of these.  I had to have one, I love visual puns.  I apologize for these crud-awful pictures.  it is now 6:30 AM and I have just finished.  I also apologize for the jommies.  I swear I'm wearing shorts under.  and I'm not pregnant.  it's just that that shirt doesn't belong to me and is huge on me.  okay, it's late.  on to the pictures.

the yarn is actually pink, not red (well, the color name is TECHNICALLY Rubine Red, but it's between red and hot pink) and it's Caron Simply Soft.  looooove.
23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / One Piece pants. on: February 09, 2006 09:53:40 PM
so I got bored the other day... and I had paint pens.  I love the show One Piece (the Japanese version, not the dub... but we won't get into that here), and I think the Straw Hat Pirates mark is so cute.  so I put the pens and the picture together and they ended up on some jeans.  unfortunately I don't have a yellow paint pen, so I couldn't finish them yet, and I did kind of a crummy job... but I love these and I am wearing them to class tomorrow.

enough blabbering.  a (bad) picture (where the pants are wrinkled and look funky).   Roll Eyes

24  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / felted marsupial tote on: February 06, 2006 10:51:41 AM
'not another one!'  I hear you cry.  well, I'm proud of mine, so I had to post it.  deal.   Cheesy

I blocked it with four VHS tapes.  =P
25  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / bunny sweater. on: January 24, 2006 11:05:09 AM
I knit a sweater for my stuffed bunny.  or rather, for a stuffed bunny that is an identical twin to mine which belongs to one of my social tribe (think sorority) sisters.  sorry the picture's sideways, I'm too lazy to turn it.   Tongue

26  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Finally finished both Pippi Kneestockings. on: January 17, 2006 12:29:30 PM
These are my awesome socks.

They go well with my yellow Crocs.

(My legs aren't REALLY like an ox.)

Yes, I know the foot stripes aren't matched, and that I did the heel turn wrong, but they are sock-shaped, and I love them.  Grin  Enjoy.
27  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / good cotton patterns on: October 18, 2005 12:19:33 PM
I've got three balls of Peaches 'n Creme cotton from Wal-mart and I have no idea what to do with them.  I've already got an S'nB bikini, and I don't have any use for washcloths.  I'd rather make something wearable, or some wearable things.  I know there's not enough to make anything huge, but I really want to make something with it!  any suggestions?
28  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / finished Hipster! on: October 03, 2005 10:19:52 PM
finished my Hipster, from Knitty.  =D    anyway, here are Hipster pics!

29  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitty's Ribbon X-back on: April 24, 2005 08:13:58 PM
Finished!

didn't have enough yarn, so I knitted it a bit shorter.  so right now it makes me look fat, and I just look crummy in those pictures anyway.  but, yeah.  uh, I added some lacing up the back because it was too wide... and other than that and the shortness I love it as is.  =)
