11  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: WoW(World of Warcraft) Swap (Sign ups CLOSED & Send outs 3/13) on: March 06, 2010 09:49:55 AM
just one project left to finish, woot! unfortunately one of the projects I've already finished is being a big stinky kodo butt and needs a tiny repair, but that should be super-easy. I'm so excited!

Really? I thought in Kalimdor you only had to do like... 600 and I think its only like 400 in the eastern kingdoms.
not every quest counts though. so even though it seems like there are a lot of quests, they can actually get really hard to find when you get past 3-400.

(I blame midterms!)

me too! it's one thing for them all to be in the same week but really, three tests on the same day? insanity!
(...I still played WoW instead of studying most of the time though. lol. they were easy tests at least...)

woooow at Hedgewitch! way to give a girl an inferiority complex, lol. oh well. I am very excited about the things I've finished already, and I started in on my final project tonight! hopefully I can finish them all up by the end of next week! unfortunately... like somebody else here, now I like all the stuff so much, I'm considering making duplicates for myself, lol.

wow! this is so adorable! I think my favorite is the top box, with the little deer in it... I like the telephone too. that box just makes me happy Smiley

I should make one of these for myself... it would serve a dual purpose, clean out my drawers AND give me some spiffy new wall art, which I am lacking Smiley

I want a wind rider plushie so bad too! it's too bad they couldn't have put them out before Valentine's Day, I bet they would have sold a LOT then. (and then maybe my boyfriend would have gotten me one, lol.)
17  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / air dry clay + Mod Podge? on: February 21, 2010 09:22:21 PM
not a polymer clay question, but I didn't know where else to put it...

I know air dry clay will dissolve in water, so I want to seal a couple pieces I made after I paint them. I have a giant bottle of Mod Podge, which is what I'd normally seal anything else with, but I just realized Mod Podge is waterbased. so will it mess up the clay? for that matter, the paint I have is waterbase too. am I headed for disaster?  Huh

sooo, I'm normally 100% horde, but something possessed me to roll a nelf hunter the other day, and it's been a kind of fun experiment. I had a couple other night elves from when I used to play alliance, but they never got out of Darkshore because it just depressed me. so actually finishing the content is interesting to me.

one thing I realized I never knew about was the ghost saber. I mean, I knew it existed, but I didn't know you got it in Darkshore. I just randomly picked up cat figurines and was like, 'these are cute, I wonder if they have a purpose' so I looked it up on Wowhead... then immediately went back in-game and started farming the entire area, lol. 16 kitty figures later, I have my very own ghost saber! if I wasn't so attached to my pet on my main (belf hunter, lol), I would totally go get her one too. I can't imagine giving up Woof though~

I went to the craft store again today to pick up a couple supplies I forgot the first go-round, and ended up being stuck by several ideas and buying a lot more than I intended, lol. but I think I've finally settled on the last item I want to make, and have all the supplies for the ones already in progress, so now I can't wait to get crackin'! *happy dance*

AND I've been playing more WoW lately, too! who knew this swap would make me so productive? Tongue I'm going to have to start doing this more often!
