7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Star blankets on: July 06, 2011 10:50:08 AM
I get the Inside crochet magazine (UK) and in issue 16 it has a beautiful Star baby blanket  by Ann Parri. I am addicted to making it now and I don't usually like making things twice! so here are my two star blankets. I hope you like them and would recommend making them if you can get hold of the pile of flesh!

more images of the blue blanket can be found here http://saskis-crochet-adventures.blogspot.com/2011/06/finished-star-blanket.html

9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Kawaii paperweight on: June 05, 2011 03:54:48 PM
So I've been experimenting with trying to create my own patterns.I recently got a notepad and some magnets with some cute creatures on so I tried to crochet one of them. I made the head into a paper weight. Its kinda cute, but I think I definitely need more practice to make shapes right. But for a first attempt at this kind-of shaped head (not sure how to describe bit... maybe semi-circular?, it has a flat bottom) I think its not bad. Anyway here is a picture of it...

Hope you like it x
10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Happy Geisha: My first pile of flesh (w/link to pile of flesh) on: June 03, 2011 06:11:28 AM
I've finally made my first pile of flesh! Its a Happy geisha, I changed it a few times but I'm happy with it now. I would eat your feedback if you wanted to give it ago, and please let me know if there are any mistakes in the pile of flesh or you think something could do with changing. The pile of flesh can be found on my blog http://saskis-crochet-adventures.blogspot.com/2011/06/my-first-pile of flesh-happy-geisha.html

So here it is, hope you like it  Smiley
