You are correct! haha he definitely won't be birthing his baby at all, but the situation is rather complicated.
It does sound funny, but whenever I think of it, it's always he's having a baby, so that's why I worded it that way.

A friend of mine let me know in November that he had recently found out he was expecting.
He's a youngin' like me, but he's gonna make a grand poppa.

I'm incredibly ecstatic for him, so for Christmas I made his child-to-be a little something.
I think it's adorable. My first free-hand attempt at cross-stitching as well.
My fingers hated me throughout the creation of it, but I believe they have forgiven me due to the loveliness that resulted from their hard work.

They consist of a basic short pattern, with a top band added.
The rest of it I winged.
