I found a recipe somewhere to make oatmeal soap. It was to grate up a bar of olive oil soap, 1/4 cup of water and 2 TBSP of oatmeal. The soap was supposed to dry in 3 days. It's been almost a week and it feels kind like a sponge that is almost dry. Anyone know why my soap won't dry?

I made two pairs of flannel sleepy pants last week. The blue ones are for my Mom's Christmas present and the pink ones are mine.

My Dad asked for little burlap feed type sacks for his model railroad. I bought some burlap and am attempting to make these stupid little things. The need to be about 1 inch by 1 inch, tiny. I backed the burlap with interfacing and sewed it. Basically the whole thing shredded. I tried it in the sewing machine and by hand. My third attempt was to glue the suckers together with craft bond, but that didn't work either. Any ideas? I did manage to glue my fingers together.

My Dad had an old set of metal shelves that he didn't want any more. They were rusty and about to fall apart. I spray painted them purple and glued rhinesones on it.

It's a Christmas present to my bunny. I included a little bag of alfala seeds to make alfala sprouts.

I'm giving bath bombs to extend family and my friends for Christmas. I made little drawsting bags to put them in.
