21  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Seahawks 2015 Sideline Beanie on: September 15, 2015 11:06:29 PM

While watching the first Seahawks preseason game, i noticed one player on the sidelines wearing the newest sideline beanie. Almost immediately after seeing it, i couldn't remember which color went where. I didn't take a picture of the screen. I coudn't find ANY pictures of it on the interwebs. I had to wait an entire week for the next preseason game and hope the weather would be cool enough for somebody to be wearing one so i could make my own. And it was, and Richard Sherman was! So i took a picture and finished the hat i was working on so i could cast on this one.

My friend, who already owns 2 of my Seahawks hats, requested a matching pair for her and her daughter.

Now my dad wants one.

This turned out so great! The addition of the teal and violet were the perfect choice.

Packers are my other team, and our old  basketball team (RIP Sonics) were also green and yellow, so I have a major soft spot for those colors. Were it not for my teams, I'd probably be right there with you, not liking the combo.

Hahaha! I love that idea. I actually love love blue and orange together, so although I'm not a Denver fan, I'm always down for making a hat in their colors. May have to make a Jacksonville hat, too.

bananaleg, nice collection of hats! I'll be doing more hats soon, I think. And, the Everyday People hat use extended single crochet, which I had never even heard of before!
Oh, okay. I thought it looked familiar, but i haven't seen it in a while.

I think we have a Seahawks fan in the house...lovely hats...I would make them just because the colors are so nice!
Haha, absolutely! I was sad when they decided to change from the classic blue and green, but the new colors have really grown on me. I love love thth now.
