I've noticed that when i make a hat, the decrease stitches are quite noticeable... Is that because i'm a tight knitter (though on some of them, i knit them quite loosely with the same effect), or is it just really noticeable for in stockinette?

Is there some way to make it less visible?

I'm still pretty new to knitting, so i only just bought some size 6 needles (the smallest i own so far). I'm gradually getting more and more, even though i'm broke and probably shouldn't be. Smiley
