My friends are having a baby. The mom is obsessed with Bane (Batman supervillain).

Added a couple more hats.

I finished knitting this in February, but i wasn't satisfied, so i didn't finish it. I finally decided to get over it.

And a bonus of my nephew modeling before it was finished:

I call this Hawk Candy (the pattern is called Neck Candy, and it's in Seahawk-ish colors):

I've had this Seahawks hat done since February, but i finally wove in the ends recently. I wasn't really happy with the lettering (and it took a fair bit of trial and error to get it how it is), which is why it sat unfinished for so long, but i decided to just get over it and hope somebody would be okay with it.:

Mariners coffee cozy:

What can i say? I love my teams. Smiley

Hello, friends! It seems i keep finding myself not checking the board... I miss it!

Kook, holy cow that lap blanket is gorgeous. And those slippers look comfy!

kbrison, i love those ocean notecards!

clm, i am really looking forward to your huge project.

After finishing an afghan for my oldest friend and his wife at the beginning of June (a wedding gift 6 months late and sadly not from stash), i've been mostly working on baby blankets. I'm really into slanted shell/box stitch.

I got the yarn for this sometime last year, i think. I finally started to use it. I still have plenty for another.

Somebody asked me for a pink/peach/white baby blanket a few months ago, and i had enough left over for this. I thought the transition from pink to peach wouldn't be so awkward, but it was... Heh. Oh, well. Maybe somebody will like it.

Now i'm knitting a baby blanket. I used the black i had leftover from the wedding afghan (which i love because the blanket will hopefully be for his brother's baby). The hot pink isn't from stash, so i'll just post this progress shot, which is mostly the black.

My sister's best friend is visiting from Alaska right now. So, yesterday, i made a coffee cozy for her. (They're both really into zebra print.)

But then i remember she'll be going back to Alaska, where she might not be ordering iced coffee anymore, so i'm making her a sleeve.

I'm also working on another crochet baby blanket in the colors of the Olympic rings (and white) because my sister had a skein of each for some reason. It's not my favorite yet, but we'll see how it turns out.

tends, i am really liking that wallet.

always, that is awesome! Do i see a divider in there?

I've been watching my nieces a bit more lately, and i try to do a daily project with them. We made some small drawstring bags the other day.

Made a bunch of drawstring bags for my mom's Good Samaritan group.

To(te) Boldly Go. I'm so clever. Haha. The Star Trek fabric is fairly new, so i won't show that, but I've had the space fabric and the strap material for at least a couple years, i think.

7  To(te) Boldly Go in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by bananaleg on: February 24, 2014 04:49:32 PM
When i saw this fabric, i really wanted it. Luckily, i had a coupon for 60% off, and some sweet space fabric and strap material (blanking on what that's called) in my stash. I haven't sewn much lately, so i wanted a quick, easy project.

I didn't add any pockets, but i think it will be ideal as a project bag, or maybe even for some small farmers market finds.

And it's reversible. Who doesn't love reversible?

8  Good Samaritan Bags in Crafty Charitable/Social Causes by bananaleg on: February 24, 2014 04:14:32 PM
My mom recently joined a Good Samaritan group at church, and their latest project is putting together sort of care bags, i guess you could call them. They were looking for inexpensive bags to fill, so i pulled out my little fabric stash.

10  1-Cable Hats in Knitting: Completed Projects by bananaleg on: February 19, 2014 05:10:06 PM
Hats with a ton of cables are pretty, but i kind of love a hat with only one cable.

This one was knit with some handdyed yarn i got from pinkleo in a swap a while back. I love how it looks knit up!

This is knit from Patons ColorWul. Such a fun colorway.
