1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / earrings!! (6 pictures) -my first jewelry post! on: July 13, 2005 02:43:26 PM
I've recently gotten into making earrings...and by "gotten into" I mean "become completely addicted."

This pair and the red ones are my favorite, I think.

These hit my collarbone!

The scarab beads are from the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

What do you think? Comments please!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / I made a belt!!! on: May 15, 2005 06:48:32 PM
I originally bought this gorgeous (IMO) fabric for a bag for home ec., but the teacher let me take home my scraps, so I made.... *drumroll please* *crosses fingers that picture hosting works*....

and here it is on:

(the ribbons look pinkish in the picture but they're really light blue)

It's basically just a hemmed rectangle with ribbons sewn on the ends to tie it, but I'm rather inordinately proud of it. What do you think??
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / my very own duct tape painted jeans!!! comments please! on: May 01, 2005 06:39:28 PM
inspired by iSearchtobeLost's tutorial, i set off on Friday to make duct tape-painted jeans of my very own. *drumroll please....*

my mom didn't want to get off the couch (desperate housewives is on XD )

the lines aren't EXACTLY straight but i say it makes it look cool. or so i like to think.

edited to put images on craftster hosting. *crosses fingers*
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / 3-color long tee on: March 18, 2005 02:23:36 PM

my first posted project!! this is my second reconstruction ever. it's made from three t-shirts and tailored to fit. oh, and i also hand-stitched it all Wink but it actually didn't take as much time as you would expect. i could post a tutorial if anyone wants it but i pretty much winged it using my measurements.
