1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Cross Stitch Quest on: April 19, 2008 10:00:13 PM
Hiya girls! I'm on the hunt for an out of print cross stitch pattern by Debbie Mumm. I've seen it titled "Checkerboard Alphabet" or simply "The Alphabet". It has a border of cute bee hives etc. One of my most excellent friends would love it and I'd love to be able to find it for her. I've hunted on the internet and the only pattern close enough to the original is missing the border, which is what really makes the whole pattern. If anyone has this pattern and is willing to part with it I have a paypal account. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!! Thank you!!  Cheesy

Just a few questions though:
1.  What yarn did you use?
2.  What size hook did you use?
3.  What size of hat does this make?

Thanks again.

Carolyn

I used Simply Soft and an I hook....the hat fits my 4 (soon to be 5) year old, but she'd got a decent sized melon lol

I created it but it looked too much like the trademarked character so for legal reasons it had to be pulled...which is why the error message is coming up. If anyone is interested in the pattern just send me your email.  Smiley This is the other thread http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=125948.0
