1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Juggalette Bag (pic heavy?) on: July 07, 2012 08:53:15 AM
So, my sister is in to the Insane Clown Posse, and therefore thinks she is a "Juggalette." She went to The Gathering last year and decided that she needed a bag for this year to keep her junk in. Because she she can't really afford to go out and drop $50 on a Hatchet Man bag, she asked me to make her one for Christmas last year... and I never really had the time to get around to it until just recently. I used the Hip Mama Bag tutorial over at A Mingled Yarn and did a freezer paper stencil on the front.

Here it be:

2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Question about eyelets on: October 07, 2011 10:35:37 AM
I am making a pirate costume for my youngest daughter, and the pattern requires eyelets. I just wanted to know what is the best (or just one that works really well) eyelet tool I can get. I bought one from the craft section at wal-mart and it was a piece of crap.
3  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Help! I have a "meat eater" hubby! on: July 18, 2011 09:27:53 AM
Help me!! My carnivorous husband eats very few veggies. He'll eat just about any potato, corn, green beans, and peas. That's it... and I've grown tired of the lack of variety and I feel silly making something that only I'll eat. Anyone know any good ways to fix these veggies? I'd love to try it!

Or even any other ideas you have!!!
4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Gryffindor Hoodie Goodness on: July 06, 2011 06:23:01 PM
I made this awesome Gryffindor hoodie for my cousin's birthday! He'll be 11 this year. I used a hoodie I bought at Walmart for $3, some felt, and an old black t-shirt.

The "scarf" goes all around the top of the hood, too.

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Diaper Bag Gift Sets on: July 06, 2011 06:20:02 PM
I made a diaper bag gift set for each of my cousins. One had a boy (blue), the other is having a girl (purple). They're the first bag sets (diaper bag, changing station, and pacifier holder) I've ever made and I'm really proud of them!!! I got lots of compliments on them!

Sorry about the links, I haven't posted enough to post images, yet!

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Companion Cube, anyone? (the cake is a lie) on: March 18, 2011 01:26:31 PM
So... DH made a Companion Cube (from the game "Portal") a while ago (don't ask me when, I probably couldn't tell you). It's about an inch (maybe it could be an inchie? lol). I guess this would be considered a trinket? Not sure if this would go here.  Huh

It's technically not done, but neither of us wants to ruin it. Our painting/artistic skills are not the greatest. lol

7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Butterfly and Pirates on: February 08, 2011 06:34:13 PM
First time poster, long time lurker. =)

First, the butterfly of 2007. I used a Simplicity pattern. We still have it... I wanted to use it for my second daughter that was born in November (she'd be about the right size come Halloween), buuut the hubby and first born are wanting to do another family set...

And the pirates of 2008. I made mine and the hubby's costumes... DD1's was bought. I got tired of sewing lol. Again, I used Simplicity patterns (I haven't been able to make anything without a pattern yet lol).

Thanks for looking!
