1  Re: One Tiny Stuffie Round 8--GALLERY!--Mail by 11/14/11 in The Swap Gallery by PaperSnipper on: November 21, 2011 02:36:58 PM
So I got pretty much the most amazing swap package ever from ChrisSews! My husband and I own a business called ReptiPro that sells incubators for reptile eggs... And I got a mini ReptiPro 5000 stuffie!!!!

Here is my assistant showing off the "incubator".

Oh no! One of the hatchlings is escaping!! How can that be? What? It has a working door?!?! AMAZING!

Shew, that was close!

And finally, here's a shot of the little lizard that has hatched (needle felted)with the flat egg he hatched from, two eggs that are in the process of hatching (one with a head out and one with a tail out), and two eggs we are still waiting for!

Everything was so amazing and creative!! Thank you SOOOO much, ChrisSews!

*edit* Here is the actual ReptiPro 5000 for comparison- you can see the clear viewing window, the buttons, everything- ChrisSews did amazing!

Sorry I am so late posting pics of what I received from cassiem!!!! On my list I had that I liked fall colors, and that I liked artifact type things, and she combined the two into the COOLEST artifact ever!!! It even came with it's own back story!

Here's the Story (taken from the journal of my long-lost great Uncle Ebenezar)
Oct. 2nd                    Bolivia
Never seen anything quite like this before. Natives call it 'the creeping demon'-apparently it only appears on a day they've associated with their version of Satan. Our camp was well surrounded with the little... plants? Animals? Unclear what, exactly, it is. Have decided to name whatever it is after... one of the 'seed pods' just moved. Must investigate. This is more suspicious all the time.

Can't believe I doubted the wonderful nature of these darling plants! One sits at my side while I write, and it has the most charming voice! Must send a specimen to Emily; she'd find it excellently satisfying, as I have.
Ebenezar Baker

And here are the pics of the amazing little specimen (aptly named the E.bakerous, autumnus)

Thanks so much Cassie! It's the perfect craft for me! I love the little bead fruits, and the time you took to actually crochet the wire! Amazing!  Grin
