


I took notes as I went, and have composed a pattern!
Flying Spaghetti Monster Crochet Pattern:
Materials:
3.25mm hook (or preferred size)
1 ball noodle yarn
1 ball meatball yarn
2 Craft eyes
Polyester fiberfill
16 gauge jewelry wire
Yarn needle
The FMS is comprised of the following parts: noodles, posable noodle eyes, and a pair of meatballs attached to a noodle-colored foundation piece.
Beginning with the left meatball: (make one)
Rnd 1: With meatball yarn, ch 2, sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12)
Rnd 3: [sc 1, 2 sc in next st] around (18)
Rnd 4: [sc 1 in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st] around (24)
Rnd 5: [sc 1 in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st] around (30)
Rnds 6-11: sc around (30)
Rnd 12: [sc 1 in next 3 sts, sc2tog] around (24)
Rnd 13: [sc 1 in next 2 sts, sc2tog] around (18)
Rnd 14: sc around (18)
FO, leaving a short tail for weaving in
Add stuffing
Noodle Foundation: (make one)
Now, this part is worked directly from whence the first meatball piece left off. Simply change colors from your meatball yarn to your noodle yarn and continue in the round until the piece is as wide as you want your two meatballs to be apart from each other.

Right Meatball: (make one)
Rnd 1: With meatball yarn, ch 2, sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook (6)

Rnd 4: [sc 1 in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st] around (24)
Rnd 5: [sc 1 in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st] around (30)

Rnd 12: [sc 1 in next 3 sts, sc2tog] around (24)

FO, leaving a long tail for sewing meatball to noodle foundation piece
Add stuffing
Noodles: (make approximately four)
Rnd 1: With noodle yarn, ch 2, sc 5 in 2nd ch from hook (5)
Rnds 2-?: sc around until noodle reaches approximately 20 inches in length(5)
FO, weave in tail
Posable Noodly Eyes: (make one)
Rnd 1: With noodle yarn, ch 2, sc 5 in 2nd ch from hook (5)
Rnds 2-?: sc around until appendage reaches approximately 25 inches in length (5)
FO, weave in tail.
Cut a piece of 16ga jewelry wire the length of the appendage. Fold the ends of the wire down an inch to form a blunt tip. Insert wire into eye stalk. Glue craft eyes to each end of the piece.
Assembly
Attach right meatball to the open end of the noodle foundation with the yarn needle, adding stuffing as needed. Sew noodles onto noodle foundation piece, using images of FSM as a guide for noodle placement. Be sure to leave two noodly appendages dangling (or propped up with more craft wire), so that others may be touched by these appendages. Sew the posable noodly eye stalks to the work, according to the images of FSM.
