argh... deadline NOT met.  :/  the only way i can finish this is if i stayed up all night... not good for someone who will probably be working about 10-12 hours tomorrow.  i begged the guy for an extension.  I feel horrible :/

Here is where I was on January 18th.

Here I am today!

Yay for progress (and better lighting)!  The only bad news is... this project is due on TUESDAY the 15th.  Although I have definitely stepped it up, I still need to complete the border, the rest of the fireball, the rest of the head, the gaps in the body, lots and lots of blue accents throughout the entire piece, and lots more!!!  I am ridiculously nervous because I am not entirely sure I will get it done before Tuesday.  I am making this for a coworker and he has been nice enough to give me so much time (lol I started this in 2009) so I really don't want to ask for more.  Ahhhh late night stitching...
24  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: How to Increase Etsy Store/Facebook fan page traffic? on: February 07, 2011 10:34:48 AM
I've seen people post a little link to their Etsy in their signatures.  Also, I always tend to search on google for things related to stitching.  Most of the time my searches bring up people's blogs that link to their etsy shops (which naturally I will end up visiting).
25  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Will I get in trouble for my shop name? on: February 04, 2011 10:31:55 AM
My blog/Craftster name/Etsy name/everything I do on the internet uses the name "starwarspunk". Although I haven't tried to sell anything yet, would I get in trouble if I sold anything on Etsy/any other site or started some sort of business using the name starwarspunk?  Thanks.

Shocked at "Other people have no trouble managing 100 parked colors."

i would definitely be more of a 3-5 color person.  haha.

thanks for that.

Check out www.librivox.org

They have lots of free audio books (through the public domain) read by volunteers.  I finished Little Women recently and it got me through a lot of stitching.  I especially like stitching when I hear about other people in the book stitching.  Lol.
