kookaloo i adore that hat! so cute!

i made a dress with a yard of fabric by tracing a tank top... problem is, i forgot to take into acct that the tank top had more stretch then the fabric

i am seriously holding my breathe and tummy in when taking this pic and could never wear this dress comfortably. i could get it on and barely get it off and the stitches were tight down the side when i was trying it on... lesson learned  Sad it could have been so cute.
i will probably give it away
oh well
at least i destashed a yard  Tongue

6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / cheap glass jar = perfect doggie treat container on: May 21, 2012 09:56:17 PM
hello! today i was running around a few shops and spotted this good size glass jar for $5. it seals really good and i thought it perfect to decorate for my dog's treats.
so here it is... all 4 sides of it  Cool

my 2 dog's names are Theodora and Penelope. Thea has the sun because i have always sung "you are my sunshine" to her. and Penny has a bat because i have always said she looks like a bat when she is laying down and her ears point up (she's a lab) and her teeth come out all vampy.

anyhow, i know my artist skills are just about where they were when i was 8 but i love this jar nonetheless and it makes me smile

c+c welcome
thanks for looking!

i put 2 elastic bands on the inside to hold sippy cups and/or bottles

and heres a close up of the awesome fabric

she should have it by saturday i imagine (sent it out yesterday). cant wait to see what she says
