I'm very impressed with myself!
I followed a youtube video which I saw on here to make it.
This is my first purse and the first thing i've made with fabric.
I love the fabric I used, I got it from ebay and have enough to make a few more if I wanted.

The zip isn't perfect but it works and holds my cards, money and housekey.  I'm sure it would hold my phone too.

Hi everyone,
I found out on Saturday that we are expecting a little girl in March.  I'd love to make her a blanket, probably for her pram(or stroller).  I'm just wondering if there are any things I need to know when I am making it to make sure it is safe for baby?  I plan to sew it all with a sewing machine.
I thought i'd use 2 pieces of fabric, 1 cotton, 1 fleece and somethng in the middle to make it nice and soft, then sew around it from the inside so the seams do not show (I hope you know what I mean, I am a beginner so not sure what the proper names for things are!).  I was thinking of sewing around it twice to make it more secure.

Another question.  I'd like to try a taggie blanket thing aswell, using the same material.  How would I sew the ribbons into the blanket?  Is there any ribbon ok to use?

Thank you.  As I said, I am a beginner so really have no idea!  I found an easy to follow tutorial online but want to ask you all too.

Hi everyone,

I'm new here so hope this is the right place to ask this.
I would like to attempt to make a little purse, I have a tutorial and have just ordered some material.  I'm looking at zips and they are not expensive but I'm wondering if it's possible I could use a zip off some old clothing instead of buying one? 
I've never tried anything like this, so have no idea.
