I know how it feels like to have discovered something great, only to find out that someone else have already doen it or posted it before you. But I love these eyes, the shading around the stone, and the swirls, and the scales, how did you make that? great colours as well

i dont use paint with clay
i use chalk pre baking
basic white clay, paint brush and chalk and like blending done with eye make up i push and bush the chalk onto the clay, when it bakes the chalk is baked into the clay , spray with varnish and it becomes water proof paint.

I'm really wanting to know how you did the filigree-with-tiny-bumps part... was it a texture you made, then used as a mold, or what?  Looks really nice, and the other texturing is cool too.

its a piece of a plain heart pendant i had laying around i embeded into the clay and worked around it

Handcrafted with polymer clay. Hand painted and coated with acrylic gloss spray.
Item is a little smaller then the palm of your hand.

Ive actually been on craftster for almost a year now
but i dont think I ever fully introduced myself.
Name's Usagi
been crafting since i could remember, i mostly work in polymer clays and resins
i hate stringing beads lol thats why you wont see much bead work from me.
i do have an etsy but im on vacation mode right now regrouping my inventory.
you may also have seen my candy wrapper purse tutorial which for some reason became very popular
