if you dont want to use decopoge
Get yourself a bottle of glossy accents
its about 6 dollars at a local craft store.
Its a air drying plastic resin no mix no fuss, scrap bookers use it to give there stickers a bubble effect.
Pirnt a pic you want attach with a little glue add the glossy onto it wait about 24 hours to make sure its not tacky though this stuff drys quick. and it will look like its part of the box
13  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Doll Chase lounge from cardboard Box on: October 26, 2012 12:08:11 AM
So I cleaned out my closet and had all these boxes that were crushed and well they werent good enough to store stuff in anymore. I also found an old bubble mailer from when i got a package from ebay.
I was looking online trying to find a chase lounge for my monster high doll.
Then I was like why dont I make one!!!

first i cut out rectangler pieces of cardboard and glued them together I fited them to about the length of my doll.
I then put something heavy ontop to make sure the glue would dry nicely
using the measurements of the base of the lounge i cut out a piece of cardboard to make the back and side of my lounge.
Using the cardboard as a pattern i cut out pieces of the old bubble mailer to give a cushion feeling to my lounge I attached these with glue to the seating part aswell.
I then cut out pieces usign the cardboard as a stencil out of my fabric and sewed it together.

everytime i see those wooden shapes at michaels i just naturally think, oh, you paint them--some deco--stickers...haha!
you have REALLY upcrafted these wonderfully!
i felt the same way they were so cute but had no idea what to do with it and for 25 cents a piece i couldnt not buy it.
but it did take me a year to figure out what i was gonna do with it.
though do you think i should add more  to the necklace part or leave it as is
i also made a chi one out of an oval shape cut out i found but its still resin curing so i couldnt really take pics of it.
