1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Journal for a month swap SEND OFFS ON Dec 11 on: December 01, 2010 10:26:59 AM
I'm all finished with the writing, I just want to add a few decorations still.  Working on a small item, but it might have to wait until next week: I have two ten page papers due next Monday and Tuesday :/ but I'm sure I can send by Wednesday Smiley

1/2 hour of work then 3 weeks leave. Yee ha!
(you may notice that I'm not actually working)

I'm writing about an A6 page of stuff each day and then filling little envelopes I bound into my book with the stuff I collect each day (recieptsl, stuff I cut out of the paper, some photos etc.). I assume this will be reasonably interesting since my partner is in another country, and more so when I travel to NZ and therefore am also in another country.

That was a terrible sentence. I hope I'm not writing gibberish like that in my journal.

That definitely sounds interesting, especially the newspaper scraps - I love newspapers from other places!! Smiley

I'm writing random weird facts about myself:

Instead of talking to someone, I prefer to act out conversations in my mind that we might have if I weren't too shy to strike up said conversations.

I often imagine outlandish scenarios, just so I can prepare for how to act in such situations. For instance, when I was working in the parasitology lab at UGA, I once imagined ninjas came crashing through the windows and I had to transform into Sailor Awesome and kick their asses. Of course, I still haven't actually figured out how to transform into Sailor Awesome, but I'm sure if such an event were to occur, my adrenaline would assist with such things.

I do that too sometimes!  Smiley I'm not sure I've ever imagined that scenario though

That's an excellent question I've never done it but I don't see why it wouldn't work (i.e. separation, texture changews, etc...)

that's what I was thinking...thanks!

I would love something like this!
I still have a little more than two weeks until I can, but I would definitely do it.

apple butter can be frozen, right?  that sounds silly, but I've never tried it before.
