I managed to make my own pattern and am working threw it going well so far! x

Hi everyone, iv been looking at doing a cross stitch in simple colours ie greys and blues of a royal marine. As far as I can find they're called "lingerie strap slides" or "lingerie strap rings."

So i had some pretty floral fabric left over from a table runner i made (after going threw 3 bin liners of fabric i chose to match the table runner!) and decided to make a boob tube (first ever). Remind me next time to chhose a stretchy fabric

I have just purchased very cheaply a dolls house custom made, ( unsure of the scale how do i find out?) and would love to tag along on this thread if possible i need to remove the front of the house and apply hinges as its back opening :S

Hey everyone. Had a brain fart on an idea for a bag.however its military style and I would like to use the strapping used for rucksacks and messenger bags. Any ideas what its called?or does anyone have and ideas on best fabrics to use. I have only ever used suede on the only bag I have made.

So i had high ambitions for my mums Christmas present and decided to attempt to make her a bag (using Jordys square bag tutorial and inserting a zipper)...the first one i completely mucked up putting the zipper in however the pattern sat alot more central on it. This is the second and finished attempt. Its not great but mum loves it and her friends even asked if i would start making them to sell. Unfortunately my sewing skills have alot of room for improvement...so i declined...for now  

Its lined with a brown silk and the outer material is upholstery with suede trim, gusset and handles. It looks much better filled, unfortunately i forgot to take photos before giving to my mum, so these are her photo taking skills   Please go lightly on me
