1  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Wonder Under on quilts... does it wash out? on: February 27, 2008 08:37:29 PM
ahhh, thanks!  To clarify, I do NOT want it to stay in the fabric.  I am looking for something that WILL wash out.  I have used glue stick on art projects with fabric, never thought about using it for quilting, but come to think of it that will probably work great if I don't find something meant for this at the fabric store.
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Wonder Under on quilts... does it wash out? on: February 27, 2008 09:43:30 AM
I'd like to appliqué some pieces onto patches in a quilt I'm planning, and so far I've only used wonder under for appliqué work. I'm wondering if the glue will just wash away over time, or always have that feeling of being bonded together? I plan to do a zigzag stitch around the appliqued parts to hold it down.  Is there a temporary wonder under-type product quilters use?

THANK YOU!!   Cheesy

It is machine-stitched fabric, reinforced so it won't be all floppy.

Thanks guys!   Cheesy  After seeing the look on my boyfriend's face, I was a little worried  Wink
