Hi Spinners,

I've been studying the threads day and night and even though the answer must be hiding somewhere her ei go and shoot away...

Can anyone suggest a good link where the steps of making  multicoloured/rainbow yarns/singles?
I saw CountingMermaids 's fab yarns and loved her photos showing of carding... I just kind of want more in between ones too... Tongue

Is it possible to make something like that with a drop spindle (after like years of practice? Grin) Huh

I've seen some really gorgious blankets this weekend in a shop....

They were made using chunky singles and were kind of loosely woven into a blanket...It was sturdy but airy at the same time...Does anyone know what i think? Roll Eyes

4  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / embellishments in nuno felting on: June 17, 2006 01:53:03 PM
Hi,

I've been lurking on the felting part of crafster all night....i think i got bitten by the bug...
I researched all the sites reccomended re. felting and looked up tonnes on nuno. I SOOOOOOOO WANT to try making a nuno scarf!
What i would like to know is how to use the imbellishments??? Can one use any type of fancy yarn or does it have to be 100 % wool??? What else could be used? I was thinking may be tiny silk stripes between very fine layers of roving wool....

PLease please please anyone with an idea jump in...

Thanx: Zizi

I have some ideas but kind of puzzled re. how to make the corners look nice??? It also needs to be big enough so i can't use 1 piece of fabric + like this....
