1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Kitchy Kindle Case on: October 30, 2010 09:53:28 AM
I recently got a Kindle 3 and bought a beautiful leather Oberon cover for it and I do not want it to get all ooky, so I made this bag with a wrist strap for it! There is also a pocket on the front to hold my book light and USB cable because I am lame and I do not have WiFi internet and need the cable to upload stuff! I recently went to a quilt show and found this retro fabric that I was dying to use! The lining is camper trailers.

The kindle with cover inside:

Comments and critques welcome! I made this up as I went along and this was my second attempt.

I am so happy to see someone else make these! I bought the pattern too but I have not found the time to start them. I plan on making them as ornaments for Chirstmas gifts for some of my friends. You did a great job!

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Daisy Purse on: October 19, 2010 09:32:30 PM
This is really cute! At least I am not the only one who trolls the clearance section of Ross and WalMart and at the Goodwill for cheap bags with great hardware. Sometimes the bags themselves are cheaper than buying the hardware at the store!!
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Team Coco Conan Blimp! Free pattern! on: October 13, 2010 10:17:36 PM
I am making one and hanging it from my rear view mirror.

I started to make those. Made 1 large pea and got distracted. He makes an excellent pin cushion though!!

I made a ton of these for a Christmas boutique at my grandma's trailer park last year and sold a TON of them! They are so handy! I keep one for when I only need my ID and some money to keep in my pocket when I ride my bike. I like how you put the keyring tabs on there too!
