1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Skeleton doll on: August 30, 2004 07:36:34 PM
This is a doll I made this weekend for the Doll/Journal swap.

I didn't use a pattern, but read Karen Vosburgh's book "Tiny Toys" a few months back and incorporated some things I remembered from her book.

The doll's about 8" high and is made of regular craft felt and is stuffed with polyfill and polypropylene pellets.  The arms and legs have floral wire in them, so they're poseable.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitted hat and scarf on: February 24, 2004 11:06:36 AM
Two separate projects, one post.

The first is a hat I just finished.  The yarn was scraps from other projects.

The second is a scarf knit from Bernat eyelash.  It's very soft, a little shiny in the sun, and I just love the colors.  Tastes great, too.

Kategirl is Queen of the Universe!

I forgot to include the soda can cuff she sent along as well -- it's been a popular item around the house this evening.

Kate, thank you so much!  I thought that notebook was really clever when I saw it on the forum -- I never thought it would end up at my house.  The cards are great, and I love the earrings!

Thank you, Valentino!
