Here's what I'm working on:

It's going to be a zipper bag.  I still have some applique to do.

And, yes, the flowers were meant to be vaguely creepy. Wink

Here's a detail:

I got the RETRO deco in the mail yesterday!  I sent a PM to Lissa -- I thought it was hers (and didn't check the roster).  gji7, it's *beautiful!*  You make such amazing things.

With holiday stuff going on, I can't promise that I'll get it in the mail quickly, but I'll try to get it back to you by the end of the month.

About MAMA SAYS:  I'm pretty sure it got lost between ritabelle and naturbuff.  I sure haven't seen it and have pretty much given up hope.  Sad

Do they have to be handmade or can we send cute store bought ones?

Since this forum is for paper art craft swaps, yes.  They should be handmade.

I got 706Designs' journal from deadpixel today.  I love it!

Thank you so much!  Grin

It's pretty roomy -- the body measures 13x9, and there's no stuffing in the body.  That's why it kind of collapses on itself in the picture.

I made it for my 4-year-old daughter, and she'll fill it with enough stuff that the body won't sag.

Here it is:  the zebra purse.

It's made of zebra-pattern fleece, black fleece scraps, and the mane is made of yarn.  The strap is black belt webbing.

I saw something vaguely similar in a magazine a while back and just made this one up as I went along.  The head is a cylinder and gets its shaping from darts at the top and bottom.

Mine is 98% complete.  I have to make a supply run this morning to finish it off.  Film at 11 p.m. or thereabouts. Wink

I think this is the silliest single item I've ever produced.  I'm so proud!

I did receive my deadpixel's journal!  I wrote a PM to her because the package came to me very damaged (the journal was OK) and I was concerned something might have been lost, but she assured me that the journal was the only thing in the envelope.

I feel like such a dork.   Undecided
