Thanks, Melinda.  His deployment was a big surprise and I'm still pretty freaked out about it.

I haven't gotten journals from deadpixel yet, but I'll have a forwarding order in place for our move.  We're just moving in town, so it won't take long for stuff to catch up with me.

I'll be looking for the dolls, but...

We got word the Friday before Christmas that my navy reservist husband is deploying to Iraq for seven months.  We first heard he was leaving in March, but found out on Christmas Eve that he's leaving January 24.  To make matters more complicated, we'd just put an offer on a house and have to move sometime between the 10th and the 20th.  Most of my craft supplies are already packed.

I will work on the dolls as soon as I can, but can't promise to get them out within two weeks.  Sorry for the holdup -- I promise I'll do my best.

Here's what 706Designs sent me.

There are handmade soaps, a beaded paintbrush, a mini scrapbook, earrings and magnets made of holiday erasers, and the world's most amazing bracelet.  I've worn the bracelet every day since it arrived!  Here's a closeup of the bracelet:

There were also some chocolate-covered espresso beans, but those disappeared before I could take the picture.

Thank you so much!

Hey, are those the lovely/creepy flowers from the embroidery craftalong un-swap??  That would be pretty funny, since my project for that craftalong was also for this swap  Cheesy

Yeah, that's exactly what it is.  Roll Eyes   I was running short of time and figured I could meet two obligations at once this way.

I took some pics of the finished projects before I sent them to dixie_terror, and I'll ask her if I can post them later if she doesn't have pics to post.

Wow -- three!  Shocked

I'll start warming up my writing hand now!

I didn't mail off on Dec. 22 because the journals were still on their way to me.  I'll get cracking on them as soon as they arrive from deadpixel.

Thanks again, guys!

spaz_muse, bullion stitch isn't hard -- just practice a couple of times and it'll make sense.
