If that's how you feel about Lexington, imagine what I'd have to write for Bowling Green.  It'd have to be the guide for what to see if your car broke down on the way to Lexington.

It's an awesome idea, dixie_terror.  I'm in.  I just know that there are people out there who really need to know what to see and do in fabulous Bowling Green, KY.

Here's what 706Designs sent me.

There are handmade soaps, a beaded paintbrush, a mini scrapbook, earrings and magnets made of holiday erasers, and the world's most amazing bracelet.  I've worn the bracelet every day since it arrived!  Here's a closeup of the bracelet:

There were also some chocolate-covered espresso beans, but those disappeared before I could take the picture.

Thank you so much!

Here's what I'm working on:

It's going to be a zipper bag.  I still have some applique to do.

And, yes, the flowers were meant to be vaguely creepy. Wink

Here's a detail:

6  Re: Craftalong Un-swap Part 1a: Sewing a purse in The Swap Gallery by hijole on: November 23, 2004 07:56:14 PM
Here it is:  the zebra purse.

It's made of zebra-pattern fleece, black fleece scraps, and the mane is made of yarn.  The strap is black belt webbing.

I saw something vaguely similar in a magazine a while back and just made this one up as I went along.  The head is a cylinder and gets its shaping from darts at the top and bottom.

7  Day of the Dead swap -- You guys are great! in The Swap Gallery by hijole on: November 09, 2004 01:47:27 PM
IQJones and dixie_terror sent me some fabulous stuff to make up for my missing swap partner.

IQJones sent some fabulous stationery, stickers, and assorted Halloween goodies.  The KitKat didn't last long. Wink

dixie_terror sent these along with her replacement Dark Doll Swap dolls (which turned out not to be lost, after all):

Thank you so much!

dixie_terror and I thought her dolls were lost in the mail, so she made me a replacement.  Here's the whole family!

Thank you, dixie_terror!

After nearly a month of buffoonery by my local post office, I got dixie_terror's dolls today.

In short, they rock!  Thank you, dixie_terror!

I got my amazing shrine from gji7 today.  I can't begin to describe how wonderful it is.  Thank you so much!

Here's the front cover:

And the incredible inside:

For some reason, I can't seem to make the bottom image larger.  If I figure it out, I'll edit it so you can see more detail.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
