61  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / The Real Mother Goose on: February 20, 2005 07:01:43 PM
This is the real Mother Goose - goose feet and all.

Kind of funky.

I made her from my Daughter's preschool teacher.  She was Mother Goose for Halloween.

Okay, I know this isn't super hip but I sew mostly for my kids.

You all inspire me so much with what you create.

I made this for my 2 year old, Lydia, out of a pair of Baby GAP jeans and some dot fabric I found garage selling.

The patch I took off a skill type cap for a baby.

The are halter style with the back taken out and elastic put in.  They are for her 1st trip to Disneyland.

Hope you like!

63  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Fraying/Curling Jean Hems??? on: February 18, 2005 05:13:43 PM
I have another question.

Has anyone frayed jeans with about 1/2" frays that curl?

I hope that makes sense.

I have been trying to figure out how to do it.

Thanks!

64  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Triangle Inserts Question??? on: February 18, 2005 05:10:30 PM
Hey Everyone.

I have a question.

I want to add a triangle insert to a pair of my Daughter's jeans.

Do I just open up the side and then cut the triangle and sew it in?

Is it that easy?

Thanks!
