Just tried this recipe tonight and it was the easiest to make and a pretty good stew.
We used 2 lbs of meat. Hubby likes his meat.
5 Hour Beef Stew
2 lb. stew beef
1 lb. baby carrots
1 lb. potatoes (peeled and cut up)
1 onion (chopped)
pinch of salt and pepper
2 can Campbell's golden mushroom soup
1/2 can water
Preheat oven to 275. Put oil in bottom of a quart sized pan. Add beef, potatoes, baby carrots, onion, salt, pepper, soup, and water. No need to stir. Cook covered for 5 hours.
