Do you think this top is like a tube with one seam or tapered?

Also, how wide of an elastic do you think it is?

Want to make one in a different fabric for my 3 year old.

49  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Boogie With Stew? on: February 25, 2006 05:37:47 PM
Just tried this recipe tonight and it was the easiest to make and a pretty good stew.
We used 2 lbs of meat.  Hubby likes his meat.

5 Hour Beef Stew
    2 lb. stew beef
    1 lb. baby carrots
1 lb. potatoes (peeled and cut up)
    2TBS. oil
    1 onion (chopped)
    pinch of salt and pepper
2 can Campbell's golden mushroom soup
    1/2 can water

Preheat oven to 275. Put oil in bottom of a quart sized pan. Add beef, potatoes, baby carrots, onion, salt, pepper, soup, and water. No need to stir. Cook covered for 5 hours.
50  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Where can I get Retro Sock Monkey Flannel??? Ugh!! Ack!!! on: February 25, 2006 08:38:52 AM
I have been looking high and low and I know this is a discontinued print but I thought I migiht be able to track it down if I knew who carried it and the manufacturer.

It is a retro sock monkey fabric with a blue background.  It is not the Moda stuff.

I want to make a rag quilt for my little girl with it.  She loves monkeys.
