Artie Joe lost his first tooth yesterday so I made him this tooth pillow/bag.

He loves it!

I really like how it turned out.

I like to redo overalls and it would be really cute on the front of the bib part.

You do nice work.

665  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Racket Monster on: February 23, 2005 07:20:42 PM
I made this monster for my son, Artie Joe.
He likes the Ugly dolls so it is fashioned sort of like them.
He wanted to name him Racket - he said like the noise.

I have two more to make for my girls.  I will post when I get them done.

Stacia, my 8 year old, made a bunch of patterns herself so I will pick one to follow.

How about taking a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and dipping it in an egg mixture (like you make scrambled eggs or french toast), fry it like a grilled cheese and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Don't overload it with peanut butter and jelly or it will be runny.

Also you can try jelly (kids like strawberry) and cream cheese sandwiches or fry them like above.

These are really cute.

I like the one with the Asian Fan.

How did you teach yourself to crochet?  Did you buy a book?

I want to learn how too.

668  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Healthy Lunch on: February 20, 2005 08:58:52 PM
I use to make these for lunch a lot.

Pita bread, sliced avacados, bean sprouts and tomatoes, lettuce topped with nonfat plain yogurt.

It was pretty good.

You can add mores veggies or meat like turkey or red onions.

669  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / The Real Mother Goose on: February 20, 2005 07:01:43 PM
This is the real Mother Goose - goose feet and all.

Kind of funky.

I made her from my Daughter's preschool teacher.  She was Mother Goose for Halloween.

These are so cute!

Did you use fleece?

Also, about how big are the?

GREAT job!  My kids would love these.

Beats an Easter Bunny in their baskets!
