Very cool! I love that idea! I also love the oval one. The touch of femininity around the circuit makes it more classy while keeping it deliciously geeky!

I had fun making these but feel like I could have done way more with them. I tend to go light on the first round to new projects (wish I wouldn't be such a wuss about it sometimes.)
Some of my first matchboxes:

I suppose I should post these under "Halloween" although I love sugar skulls all year round. Halloween is my favorite time of year. The decorations, themes, and styles are all my favorite, the weather here in New England is perfect, not to mention the changing of the leaves, but the fact that my birthday is just 2 days before Halloween probably has something to do with it.
Here are some of the first three skulls that I have painted this year:

And some unfinished statuettes:

Nothing is touching the surface where food would be placed.

Here are some more detailed shots of one of them:

Noting but the surface of the plate.

Thank you! Smiley
Yes, The picture is adhered to the back of the plate with modge podge and then spray painted over with 2 coats of flat black and 2 coats of clear sealer.
I do not have a dishwasher, so I wouldn't be able to test them, but my guess is that they are probably not ready for one yet.

I have started a new line of dinner plates.
I am still working out a few details. These are my first three:

These ones are made with plain glass plates, pin-up girl cut-outs, modge podge, and spray paint.
They are completely usable and hand-washable. I used them for a sexy candle light dinner that I made for my boyfriend last night.
29  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Brand new member from New Hampshire on: September 24, 2010 11:35:49 AM
Hello! After some difficulty registering I am finally a Craftster member! I have been enjoying this website for months now, though unfamiliar with the workings of the forum, swaps, activities and building of a good profile or good, crafty personality. Any tips would be very helpful.

I am embarking on the adventure of becoming a full time crafter. I have the opportunity to open up a shop, so I figured I would try to do something that I love and seeing if I can make a living off of it before it is too late to try. My new business venture is in it's infancy and the deeper I get the more that needs to be done. I use craftster as my daily inspiration. I look at new posts over my morning coffee before I get to work. I get very excited about the possibility of being an active craft community participant!

Other than crafting, I am a bar tender at a local Pool Hall and I love it! I am 25, a fan of rockabilly and psychobilly culture, a college graduate, my boyfriend is the best and my life rocks. Born and raised in New England but I love to travel anywhere and everywhere.

I would like to participate in a swap, but have no idea what to do.

I can't post pictures yet, so here's my facebook profile I guess:
