Im Rachel Im 22 and live with my fianc Nick and our 10 month old baby boy Louis in the UK. We have just bought our first house together and are trying to get it just how we want it. . I tend to prefer useful things over just decorative ones, I love reading and Im a massive gamer (mainly Nintendo but also 360 and roleplaying) I love owls, Mario, Pokmon, Zelda, cupcakes, rockabilly / 50s style, robots, Harry Potter, tattoos, stripes, polka dots, peacocks, dinosaurs, rainbows, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Red Dwarf, technology, anything geeky, kayaking, Angry Birds, buttons, badges and a million other things that I cant think of right now. =]
None of us are allergic to anything but if the item is for Louis then Id prefer it not to have been around smoke.
Pre-loved stuff is fine and supplies are always great.

You could cover them in fabric and use them as pretty storage boxes. Or maybe take the front of the box off and make them into deep picture frames?
17  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Angry bird beanbags on: May 14, 2012 06:05:47 AM
A good friend of mine is in the process of making a gaming room so for Christmas I made him some Angry Bird beanbags. They were a great success and I have been instructed that I need to make some for our house Smiley
I've finally got the photos off of him (as I forgot to take them when i'd finished).

They took a lot longer than I thought they would to make and they broke my sewing machine twice! You can't really tell on the pictures but the red one does have feathers on it's head and a tail. The pig is the size of an average beanbag and the bird is HUGE! It's 16 cu Feet, 9.5 feet around and 40 inches high!

Onto the photos.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandma Naantje, my Grandma died last year and had been in a nursing home for a while. 10 years ago she fell and broke her hip which triggered a stroke, since ten she had more strokes and developed dementia. She didn't always know who we were but it was always nice for her to have visitors. I think you'd be more likely to regret not going than going.

I'm really looking forward to making Christmas ornaments in May, I've not crafted in so long and really miss it. This will be perfect to get me back into things Smiley
