1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / I bought a Singer 247 for $10 on: October 03, 2010 12:14:17 PM
I love it and the wheel turns all the way around moving the needle, but I think there is a problem with the bobbin tension. The thread knots up on the bottom of the plate. I found a place in town that fixes machines, but I'm wondering: a) if this sounds like something I can fix myself? or b) has anyone ever had this fixed and about how much would it cost?
Thank you so much!
I'm new to sewing so any info would help.
