Ok ladies, I did it! Here: http://aussie-in-bohemia.blogspot.cz/2013/07/greece-cradle-of-european-culture-and.html are almost 100 pictures from Aussie's trip to Greece. Picking some of them for the album will be difficult Smiley

This is Aussie at the Tree of Hippocrates - the tree under which, according to legend, Hippocrates tought his pupils medicine.

Artemis, I suppose.

They also visited local volcano:

I'll be here next week with photos from national park umava!

Paper:
I visited Stonehenge some 4 years ago and I remember croooowds of people around it- how is it possible there are no tourists in your photo? Is it magic?

Me and Aussie saw the Czech musical Kleopatra (about Cleopatra's life Wink). I last saw it as a little girl and it made me love ancient Rome and its history. It's still my passion so I was happy to have a chance to see it again and even to show it to Aussie Smiley

Here: http://aussie-in-bohemia.blogspot.cz/2013/06/kleopatra.html are a few more photos and the videos from the musical.

Will do  Cheesy And I bet you aced your entrance exams!!

Yahooo, doesn't matter anymore- me and Aussie came back from the national science fair where we presented my roundworms research. I was the 8th which means the Charles University will accept me in any case Smiley I also won a simple microscope that Aussie immediately tried although we were supertired (the fair took place in the opposite edge of the Czech republic so the journey by bus was very long)

but the whole university thing is the best prize for me. I can stop being nervous now :')

Thank you for showing Riki so awesome places and animals. Whales and bats, how great! I think she comes back to Europe as a zoologist Grin

We just came from the museum where took place one of the events of the French week, the French evening organized by my exschool. I recited Prvert, there was some French music, poetry, a short amateur movie about bizzare French habits and some interesting lectures (I liked especially the one about Bretagne Smiley).
And because it's a part of the festival "Napoleonic celebrations", Aussie got a chance to be a 19th century soldier for a while Smiley

There is a video of Aussie listening to one of my ex schoolmates singing Edith Piaf's songs (part of Mon Dieu and Rien de Rien):

This is my last post today, I promise Grin

On the Wenceslas square Aussie saw the famous statue of Saint Wenceslas and today he saw the parody by David Čern. The Europeans might remember him as the creator of Entropa- the large satiric sculpture showing each country of the EU as something stereotypically "known" about it. There was much ado about it a few years ago.
This is in Prague art nouveau palace Lucerna.
