Thanks, Listessa! I'm glad you like them.
13  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Squares collage 1 on: September 18, 2010 03:45:02 PM
I'm new to Craftster, so I'm posting some older projects that I've done. This is from a series of collages that I made from pages of magazines that I cut up and pasted together.

I love this idea!!! They are so cute. So is an inchie a square-inch little piece of art of any kind? do you do just drawings, or could they be anything as long as they're teensy?
15  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Interlocking squares and bars cross-stitch on: September 18, 2010 02:12:28 PM
The fourth, and last, of my older cross-stitch projects. The square is a little stretched to one side in the photo... This one was done in 2009 and was also based on a (I think) Japanese geometric design. I used metallic thread mixed in with the pink for two of the squares and that stuff is a pain in the butt to work with! I don't think you can see it in the photo though.

This is the third of my older projects I'm posting here (I'm new to Craftster). I stitched this one in 2009. I had just finished watching Season 2 of Project Runway on DVD, and I was inspired by the colors that Santino Rice used in his clothes, so I picked these colors with his work in mind.
17  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Interwoven stripes cross-stitch on: September 18, 2010 01:55:39 PM
I'm new to Craftster and have a few older projects that I'd like to post. This is the second of them, stitched in 2008. I based it on an old geometric pattern I found (don't remember where, but I think it was maybe from a book of Japanese designs??). I used variegated floss on some of the squares and stitched them diagonally. I really like how that turned out. The photo doesn't really show how rich the colors are. It looks better in person.  Smiley
18  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Japanese-crest-inspired cross-stitch 1 on: September 18, 2010 01:24:17 PM
I just found out about Craftster, and now I want to post a few projects that I've done in the last few years. This is the first big project I did back in 2008. I had been doing paper collages using little squares to form a bigger pattern and it hit me that it would be cool to use the same concept for cross-stitch, so I came up with this.

Hilarious!
20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Friendship Granny Square Blanket on: September 13, 2010 07:33:48 PM
That's really great blanket. And it's even better knowing that so many people contributed to it. That's a nice idea.
