1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Morrissey painting turned cross stitch picture on: October 02, 2010 10:55:54 AM
Wow, that is so cool! I love it. And I'm really impressed that you created the pattern using Paint... by hand? How did you do that? (I should probably read all of the comments for clues about that.) Really excellent job!

These are really cool! I absolutely love your drawing on the one with the orange circles. And they do seem very Frank Lloyd Wright-ish. I also make bookmarks (will have to post them sometime). Never would have occurred to me before seeing yours.

I'm new to Craftster, so I'm posting some older projects that I've done. This is number 6 from a series of collages that I made from pages of magazines that I cut up and pasted together.

8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Japanese-crest-inspired cross-stitch 1 on: September 20, 2010 06:18:41 PM
TraumaDoll: It did take a long time, but actually it didn't drive me too crazy because I was listening to a course on my ipod while doing part of it, so it went pretty fast. And then at other times i find these really relaxing to do because i can listen to music or just think and space out while stitching without having to follow a pattern that requires a lot of attention and counting (those really drive me crazy).
kittykill: thanks again! i really appreciate the comments. i wasn't sure how these would go over.  Smiley

whateverjames: thank you!! that's quite a compliment.
kittykill: thanks! this one is about 5 inches square, and the other three are four, five and six inches square. And they're all done on 18-count Aida.
