1  Where have all the parrots gone? in Quilting: Completed Projects by beaniekins on: August 14, 2011 06:41:49 PM
I made this quilt recently using the One Block Wonder technique from Maxine Rosenthaal.  I used a parrot fabric to start, cut it all up into hexagons, and sewed it all back together.  It was like a puzzle, deciding which blocks to stick where.  I love the finished result; it hangs on my wall now.  It is a little brighter in person, but the indoor lighting from this shot is poor.
