Great job and I love the name of your cat. Cheesy

Thanks for the love everyone! And yeah, he's the coolest cat ever. Should have named him Slimer though, he sneezes big boogers all the time.

8  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Lasagna Cupcakes on: June 29, 2011 11:44:29 AM
Oh wow these look good! I just started weight watchers, and am trying to figure out how to cook for hubby and for me, these look like they wouldn't be as fattening as regular lasagna since you're not eating as many layers of noddles.

And I could put regular cheese on his, and just a little on mine. I'm seriously really excited about trying this recipe!

Replace the ricotta with spinach and it can reduce the fat content by half and add a vegetable serving. I use the same recipe not as cool as the cupcake style ones here, but have been also trying to watch my intake of fat/calories. Even low fat ricotta is still pretty high in fat as far as cheese goes.

My family is very big on lasagna but I'm always reluctant to make it because I can't stop eating it. This is absolutely awesome in every way and can't wait to try it!

So I'm currently in limbo of moving. I'm waiting to hear on some visa's to move internationally so in the meantime I moved back in with my mom. We did a whole clear out house, and she had offered to buy me a new bed set. Granted, new is nice, seeing as how I wont be living with her for more than a few months it seemed unnecessary. She had this very old battered bed-frame (purchased in the 40's) from my Great-Grandmother. This thing has been a hand me down for so many years, and she had contemplated trashing it. Instead of the trash, to my bedroom it went! It still works just fine, and given it's sentimental value, I figure we could spruce it up and save some cash while we're at it. Hope you all enjoy!

Tools: Paint brush, tarp, black and white Olympic Latex semigloss paint (although I wouldn't recommend it really as far as lasting durability)

Before (I forgot to take a picture of the top bit of the frame, but it looked exactly the same as the bottom frame):

I'm a huge fan of the Kraken/Octopus and I love compasses so I took the idea from a tattoo I had designed/done for me last year (artwork by Steve Lowery at http://transcendingflesh.com/).

Anyway, here's the final result of the frame!

(That's Cloud Strife on the bed enjoying it!)

Okay so I'm ready to make my post but I'm really confused how. The link that says start a new topic under the challenge entries takes me to a page where I don't see anything that actually allows me to start a new topic.

Call me noobie but am I having a blonde moment :-P
