I don't know if Jen's been able to tear open her package containing this diaper bag-goodness, but it's there waiting for her at her house, so I thought I'd post pictures of what I sent just because it's the best bag I've ever made. (:
On my way out of the house this afternoon, late for class and a bit cranky, I tripped over all of my mail which had fallen to the ground as it was wedged between my two doors (my mailbox has been m.i.a.). I didn't bother to look at the standard-sized envelopes and instead grabbed the large envelope which I just knew contained my papery goodness. (: At the stoplight, I opened it up, and this is what I found! (pictures obviously taken later that night on my bedroom floor)

Thank you Karensff for all the beautiful paper! I couldn't concentrate in class because I knew I had a stack of paper just waiting to be used sitting in my car. (; Now I just need to figure out what to do with it all...
I know Karensff posted pictures of the wonderful papery goodness I sent her, but I just found some pictures that I took before I sent them off, so I thought I'd share. (: These are some of my favorites that I had a difficult time parting with. (;
I decided to make myself one of these with some fleece that was on sale... All of these are quite pretty. I think I shall try to make a larger (two person) one out of a lighter fabric for the summer/spring. (:
I got my loot from fadeawaydream and I love, Love, LOVE, LOVE it! I got a beautiful large tote bag, a little pouch, a friendship bracelet and and a book thong. Thank you soooo much! I'll get pictures up as soon as I can sometime next week!
Yay! Here are some pics to hold ya'll over until Fonduie can take some action shots.
Pouch, book thong, bracelet:
Close up of the bracelet 'cause I'm so proud of it
This bag here was created on a whim, from what was originally going to be a flat and boring tote. As I have never made such a bag before, I pretty much made it up as I went along, with the help and suggestions of a dear friend. Sadly, I parted with it for a swap, but I am glad the owner likes it as much as I did. (:
Oh yeah, it's super sturdy--two layers of fusible interfacing on each fabric for a total of four layers of interfacing in there! Yeesh! The sides are floppy so they can be folded in, and there are pockets on each side.
