Thank you so much for the reply with tips!  I ended up buying the floral gel and clear elmers glue.  I have not tried the floral resin yet but plan to sometime this week.   The glue was wonderously clear but still has not solidified since Tuesday.   I will try to post how the floral resin does after I test it.  Thanks again!!

Hi everyone!  I have a quick question. I'm trying to make potion bottle charms and I need something to fill some of them that will dry super clear.  I've tried clear glue and that dried milky white, and i also tried crystal effect by stamping up and that dried opaque and off whiteish.  Any tips or suggestions?  Thanks all!

Hey all! My SIL is having her first baby in October of this year and I was thinking of using all the time I have till then to make a few Diaper cakes.  Two of my cousins each have purchased a large box of size 1-2 diapers and donated them to me for crafting.   Im planning on making a few smaller ones Tied with ribbon and a few flower socks as centerpieces on the tables and one big one with all the goodies on it like he blankets and toys.  I just have a few questions.

*How do you anchor stuffed animals to the cakes without glue or otherwise damaging the diapers?
*What are the different ways to make sock flowers?
*Are there any other clever cutesy things to do?
*is there a way to make a rolled diaper cake without rubber banding them? I really like the way these look best when not covered with a blankie.

*For all you moms out there:   how long do you think it took your little one out outgrow size 1-2 diapers?  I want to give as much help as I can.
* also, what are some things that you all most recommend be attached to a diaper cake?

For anyone still searching for a good way to start Amigurumi, I started on Youtube watching some tutorials.  I had never evern done simple flat crochet before and I was able to make a mouse in a half hour, just by following along.  Here is the link :
