32  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Anniversary present on: April 27, 2011 01:55:25 PM
I made this for my boyfriend for our 2 year anniversary. It was innitially going to be a altered jigsaw but I lost a couple of pieces in the process; so I came up with a creative way of displaying them on a canvas as a frame round a soppy poem about love and jigsaws.
The spare jigsaw pieces were stuck on the back but I forgot to take pictures of them. Roll Eyes

37  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Help needed with puzzle project on: March 28, 2011 02:19:55 PM
Hiya guys I really need some help.
I am making a custom jigsaw for my boyfriend for our 2 year anniversay. I was just putting it together and I have a piece missing. I have somehow managed to loose one. I know they were all there. So I have it finished apart from this missing piece. I have turned the house upside down trying to find it, it is nowhere.
So, I have 2 options, I either buy another jigsaw and do it all again (I have spent hours and hours on this!) or I come up with a way to display the jigsaw which doesn't let on there is a piece missing.
Any ideas? Huh
38  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Dorothy shoes! on: March 08, 2011 01:52:29 PM
I have reconned a pair of second hand pair of shoes into a pair of glittery dorothy shoes and lets face it, what girl doesn't want glittery shoes? Grin
The were orginally cream with a wooden heel, sorry I forgot to take a before picture.
I basically just gave them a base coat of red paint then applied 2 coats of glitter and then sealed with outsdoor mod podge.
Here are the pictures, enjoy!

Contructive criticism is welcome. Cool
39  COOKING / Dessert / Chocolate cinnemon buns on: February 28, 2011 05:30:10 PM
These buns were totally experimental. I was making chocolate buns and decided to put some cinnemon in, I reccomend it is gorg! I as also tying out a new frosting recipe, it tastes like marshmellow (doesn't contain any) and keeps a gooey texture. It is fab!

40  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Painted wedges on: February 22, 2011 02:54:14 PM
I got a pair of wedges in the January sale for 5. Love the style but the colour was horrible. So I painted them with fabric paints; purple on the top part and black on the wedge. I the used outdoor mod podge to seal it. I then stuck on a bow on the front that were from some cheap hair slides.

Excuse the flash on the pic.
