So happy you liked the hat!!  Yeah I sold it on my site http://piebirdjosie.squarespace.com/shop/ (soon to be piebirdjosie.com).  I'll try to make more after I finish these next orders. I'm thinking of doing some little bird purses for spring as well.

It's my rat pal, Hummus.
 I usually start with a basic pattern and then alter/embellish it as I see fit during the process. It's more fun that way!

i used mohair from wool in the wood for the ribbon and the pom and araucania nature wool for the body.  Maybe I'll add a little monster sometime.  The colors made me think of nessy.

Just choose your favorite bun recipie, poke holes for eyes, use sanitized scissors to cut ears, shape into rounds
