Aw, man! I'm bummed I missed the sign ups this year. It'll be my first year of no steampunk ornaments. Oh well. I can't wait to see what you guys make!

I love the idea of a diorama! I've always liked making those, come to think of it.

I've been wanting to do a little paper doll theater for a while and this could be the perfect excuse!

Lovely! Your house turned out wonderfully. I like the porch a lot, too.

Wow, katara! Your house turned out great! I really like the star and moon stained glass windows. Did you use tissue paper?

Oh my goodness! I just found a little wonderland of dollhouse supplies. http://www.theenchantedgallery.com/dollhouse.html

They also have some great polymer clay supplies, and it's all very reasonably priced.

Thanks! I used jump rings glued to straws that I painted with metallic paint. But grommets would have been much easier! Now I wish I'd thought of that! Smiley

I love the gingerbread man! He's so cute with his handlebar mustache! How did you do the gears?

I found another great Dollar Tree find yesterday: little reusable plastic containers with lids. They come in a 10 pack and are perfect for storing mini supplies and would probably be great for storing beads, too. I fit 16 of the little bottles in one container. I got 2 packs!  Cheesy

I went to Dollar Tree today and got 5 packs of those little bottles. There are 8 bottles in each pack, and the contents themselves are pretty cute, too. All around score! The stoppers also have a little hole which would be perfect for a fairy dust necklace.

Getting those bottles so cheap really makes you wonder how much they cost to make since Hobby Lobby sells a 4 pack of empty bottles for $2.00. They must be making a killing!

The aunt who gave me the dollhouse stuff also gave me a bunch of magazines from the early 90s featuring miniatures and a book featuring miniature artitsts. The styles don't really appeal to me, so I thought I'd see if any of you guys might want them. Send me a PM and we can work out the details if you're interested.

I've received from both of my partners already, and I love my new ornaments!

First is the one from libertine49: a sparkly hot air balloon!

I love hot air balloons and bunting. Smiley The colors match perfectly with my tree, too!

Next is a cool Christmas light bulb filled with neat do-dads from hgddm:

There are some great curly wires and some steamy little bits and bobs. It's wonderful!

Thank you so much, libertine49 and hgddm! You guys rock!
